Editorial roles

I have served as a reviewing editor for the Botanical Society of America’s Applications in Plant Sciences (APPS) journal (Publisher: Wiley) during September 2022 to August 2024, and I was mentored by APPS Editorial Board members and gained invaluable experience in the editorial and peer-review processes. Especially, I learned about how to find/invite suitable reviewers using the Editorial Manager, synthesizing external reviews, and worked closely with the Associate Editors on the decision process.

Currently, I am part of the editorial board in "Ethnobotany Research and Applications" is an open access, peer-reviewed, journal devoted to the rapid dissemination of current research in any areas related to Ethnobiology. The journal is currently published by the Department of Ethnobotany, Institute of Botany, Ilia State University, Tbilisi, Georgia. And this journal uses open-source journal management system under Public Knowledge Project since December 2022.
